Bike Day being held for brain injury survivor support group


Rockford, Ill. On June 19 from 6:30 – 8 p.m., brain injury survivors and their families are welcome to attend Bike Day at Van Matre HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital located at 950 Mulford Rd. in Rockford. Bike Day is being co-hosted by Headlines Brain Injury Support Group, an organization that provides support and education to brain injury survivors and their caregivers.

The event, provided at no cost, will conducted by special guest Hal Honeyman from Project Mobility, an organization dedicated to promoting health, independence and freedom of mobility through adaptive cycling. Equipment and technicians will be on-site for participants to test out. Guests are asked to bring their own helmets.
